A New Policy on Basic Services
The Consumers’ Association recently discussed the subject
of Basic Services and adopted a new policy.
It should be remembered that one of the Consumers’ rights
deals with basic services – Every consumer has a right to
basic services. Basic services are an essential ingredient
of our daily life. They provide us with an infrastructure
without which we either cannot live or else our life would
be miserable and we would find ourselves emarginated even
from society.

Directive as part of the acquis
communautaire.
These regulations establish rules applicable where
passengers are denied access to an overbooked
scheduled
flight
for which they have a valid ticket and
a confirmed reservation. |

to the idea of accepting any service. We tend to protest
only when the service provided is obnoxious
